2 sins, 2 fire eles, and 2 monks, or the ever popular 4 hexers and 2 n/rt's are better than 8v8?
If anything, 6v6 was more buildwars than 8v8. You just took as much damage as humanly possible on 4 characters to overpower 2 monks, then had your 2 monks that you hoped wouldn't die before the others. Also, killcount catered to these types of builds. Even on relics you just have to do the same thing as with the rest of the "kill the other team" maps, you just had to run relics in-between whipes.

especially since people complained for so long to get it back to 8v8, i like 8v8, guild wars is built around an eight man party structure.

I petitioned hard to get it back to 8v8. I will not concede, even for a weekend.

I believe the only 6 on 6 arenas we need are Costume Brawls and Dragon Arena.

buildwars is better than guildwars, true story, but i don't really think that 6v6 promotes buildwars as much as you'd think, i believe (by what i witnessed during the 6v6 days) that 6v6 more often encouraged cheese, cause you could do it seeing as the other team had minimal defense generally due to the lack of party members bringing supports.

I've suggested multiple times that It would be cool to have a 6v6 weekend event for a nice fun change,(with x2 fame/faction, to bring more people). While it can be fun for a short time, it's a well known trth that 6v6 wasn't any good for HA when it lasted longer. 8v8 should stay as the standard format.
So,
/signed for a weekend only.

Our guild was very dominant in the 6v6 format your talking 5k-20k fame for our members in that 3-4 month period despite this i am pretty sure most of them will say 8v8 holding was the best and fairest format for HA as long as Anet took the time to balance things quickly.
